The GM781 Station Steam era Scenic Sounds Module reproduces real records of sounds heard at steam era stations.

The unit can be programmed to respond to DCC commands for each sound or play a random selection of sounds.

If you can see your platforms on your model railway then the module is best controlled by DCC to avoid doors slamming or guards whistles on an empty platform unless you want to recreate a ghost train.

If your model is of an area adjoining a station or static diorama then the unit can be connected to a DC supply and left to play random station sounds
