Buffer Stop rail built type

All over British Railways in yards and sidings you would find this classic rail built buffer stop to protect against running off the end of sidings and in some single line terminus stations.

In our model world it serves the same purpose and perhaps the occasional over enthusiastic shunt.

This buffer stop is moulded with accurate detailing including a railway lamp. For the end of a running line this would have been painted white with a red lens. In goods yards there would not have been a lamp and it can be removed with a craft knife.

You can customise your buffer stop by painting the wooden effect parts to resemble weathered sleepers, and then decide if you want the rails rusty or leave them painted black.

The buffer stop clips to streamline track so put it in before you fix your ballast in place.
