Turnout Motor with short Operating Pin

The PECO PL-10E Turnout Motor with Extended Operating Pin is designed for direct mounting to PECO Turnouts.

The pin passes through the turnout tiebar to move the point blades, and you must have a large enough hole in the baseboard to accommodate the whole point motor.

The PL-10 turnout motor uses a well proven design that has two coils that are energised alternately to move the turnout blade.

If you use an AC current the point motor will buzz, the motor will work very well using a DC capacitor discharge unit with no buzz.
