These chemically blackened small unobtrusive 14mm long track pins are designed for fixing track & turnouts, best used with pre-drilled holes to avoid bending the pins during use. 

We use a 0.8mm drill in a pin vice to pre-drill the sleepers and base board to a depth of 8mm before pushing these pins home.
