The Hornby R1283M BR 'The Royal Scot' Train Set recreates the luxury of a Hornby Dublo with metal bodied BR Coronation Class 4-6-2 46232, ‘Duchess of Montrose’.

Making a welcome return to the Hornby collection, the new Dublo ‘Royal Scot’ Train Set has been recreated for todays modellers and enthusiasts.

The set first appeared in 1953 and rebranded 5 years later, the ‘Royal Scot’ set the standard for other sets.

  • The new set includes a metal bodied ‘Duchess of Montrose’ in BR Green, plus two coaches and 3rd Radius Oval Track, Power Connecting Track and 
  • Re-railer.

  • Just like the original, the set also includes a ‘Royal Scot’ headboard while the coaches have separate destination boards.
